SELF App Constellation ​

The dedicated network used by SELF App ​

SELF App operates its own Celestial Constellation, a dedicated blockchain network configured around SELF App's identity, participation model and application needs.

SELF App is the first live Celestial Constellation. The chain components used by the product run on infrastructure operated for SELF App, with browser-based validation and browser-to-browser consensus deployed in production.

What Celestial provides ​

Celestial builds configurable, dedicated blockchain networks. A Celestial Constellation can define its own:

  • network identity;
  • governance and economics;
  • application and participation model;
  • validator configuration;
  • verifiable record layer.

Celestial's consensus model is called Proof-of-AI. It is designed around AI-assisted block building, validator voting, CPU-first participation and fair transaction selection.

How SELF App participates ​

SELF App integrates network participation into its browser PWA:

  1. Browser validation: Supported validator functions run from the application in the browser.
  2. Equal voting power: Validator influence is based on one validator, one vote.
  3. Prize Pool entries: Eligible participation contributes entries to daily, weekly and monthly draws.
  4. Integrated setup: Participation is part of the SELF App experience.

Current production status ​

The SELF App Constellation currently provides:

  • Proof-of-AI consensus;
  • browser-based validation;
  • peer-to-peer consensus between browsers;
  • active Prize Pool drawings;
  • sovereign identity and verifiable records for SELF App.

The broader Celestial roadmap includes a long-term target of 50,000 transactions per second. This is a future performance objective, not a statement of current SELF App Constellation throughput.

Relationship between SELF App and Celestial ​

SELF App is a production browser PWA operated by SELF Technology Pty Ltd in Australia. It includes private AI, encrypted storage, messaging, mail, calendar, office tools, wallet functions and browser validation.

Celestial develops the broader Constellation model for dedicated blockchain networks. SELF App uses a Celestial Constellation while retaining its own product operations and infrastructure.

Token issuance is handled separately by SELF Technology Limited in the British Virgin Islands. SELF Technology Pty Ltd operates SELF App and does not issue the token.
